June 7th, 2013. Today, Asimba has released a minor update to version 1.1.2. Although it is a minor update, there are some improvements to the JDBC modules that require data model updates.
Some of the new features, are:
- Standard Provisioning Profiles for Remote Authentication methods
- JDBC: Performance improvements through caching requestors
Updates have been implemented to enhance the OpenSAML integration in Asimba, particularly around the use of resources for MetadataProviders.
Please see the Asimba wiki for the required database updates for the jdbc-requestor module.
Welcome to the new website of Asimba! Apart from being just a home for the Asima SSO server project, it also aims to put Single Sign On into the perspective of how identity is used on the internet.
The Asimba website launches with basic information about the Asimba project, and will be updated to provide more information about how to use Asimba. Another major part of Asimba online, is its open invitation to contribute to the platform. This practical approach is supported through an Asimba-project website on SourceForge.
If you want to keep up to date on how Asimba is developing, visit the project weblog, or follow @AsimbaSSO on Twitter.
